Partners in Housing is very proud to announce our first ever Apartment Complex opening in Kokomo, Indiana. The property is meant to serve low to moderate income Kokomo families. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that this apartment complex develops a sense of community through the several amenities the property will have.

Partners took on the Burton Apartments in 1995 as its first housing project. After being abandoned in the mid-1980s, the building was literally crumbling when the restoration began. Designed by Preston Rubush and Edgar Hunter of the architecture firm Jungclaus, William & Company, the hall served as a dormitory until the 1970s. It was left vacant for 27 years until Partners in Housing acquired the property. It was restored and reopened in December 1998.

106 large one- and two-bedroom apartments Colonial Park was designed by architectural firm Pierre & Wright and constructed in the 1930’s. After years of declining rentals, PIH acquired the apartment complex in 2003 and partnered with Brandt Construction for renovation.

28 one-bedroom apartments Linwood Manor was designed by the Moynahan Apartment Association and built in 1925. It was acquired by PIH in 2009 and opened the following year. Linwood Manor houses veterans who are transitioning out of homelessness.
