In 1993, Frank Hagaman looked around Indianapolis and saw a problem. The city was covered in abandoned buildings while there were thousands in the area who needed safe, affordable housing.
Drawing on his experience in banking, Hagaman founded Partners in Housing, one of the first Housing First programs in the Indianapolis area.
In our over 25 years of service to this community, Partners in Housing has grown to 10 buildings in Indianapolis and one in Kokomo. We provide Support Services and a sense of community to our residents every day.
We've won awards from HUD and the Governor for our innovative work. We've helped thousands of Indianapolis residents gain housing stability and reach their full potential. We invest millions into the community we serve. 86% of every dollar donated to Partners in Housing goes directly to serving our residents.
We believe that the solution to homelessness is housing. We believe that all human beings deserve housing, regardless of income, disability, past mistakes or active addiction.
